Organization Purpose

New Neighbors is a non-profit organization that strives to benefit the community and involves new people in Germantown, Collierville, Cordova, and surrounding areas. The club also provides opportunities to meet new people for those undergoing other changes such as a new baby or empty nesters. Whether you're interested in social activities or community involvement, New Neighbors has something to offer you. We hope to add new members so we will be able to grow and expand. We also want to have fun while we are together and working on projects. By developing relationships and friendships, the organization will become even stronger.

With over 400 members, New Neighbors is known for its social activities for the entire family. Activity interest groups include tennis, bowling, bridge, bunco, Mah Jong, book review, antiquing, investment group, stitchery, and couples groups. Luncheons with varied programs are held the third Wednesday of each month at different area restaurants and clubs.

Our Mission

Our mission is to further promote the interests of our organization and introduce our members to the community. We strive to make a difference by educating the public and expanding our reach.

New Neighbors has several fundraisers throughout the year with moneys going to numerous local charities. Past recipients have been the First Works, Inc., Les Passes, Germantown Animal Welfare League, Dorothy Day House of Hospitality, Collierville Animal Shelter, Friends of Collierville Animal Shelter, The Bodine School, Salvation Army, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Breast Cancer Eradication Initiative, Memphis Family Shelter, Page Robbins Adult Daycare, Houston Show Choir and Down Syndrome of the Mid-South.

New Neighbors supports the community through several service projects. Fundraising projects have included Apple Dumpling Booth at the Germantown Festival, "No-Show Tea" Vendor Fair and Live and Silent Auctions.     The club also donates its time and talent to decorate a tree for Le Bonheur Children's Hospital annual Festival of Trees.
